How much does custom CRM software cost? (2026)

Custom builds on your CRM start at about $5,000 at CRM partners that publish prices, a packaged HubSpot plus Clay build is $25,000, and one partner sells senior hours at $200 to $250, based on the partners' own sites. Buying instead, HubSpot sales seats cost $7 to $100 a month depending on the tier.

HubSpot Sales Hub Professional$90 to $100 a seat a month, plus a required $1,500 onboardinghubspot.com/pricing

HubSpot lists two prices per tier and doesn't say which billing term each belongs to. For 20 reps on Professional, a year is $21,600 to $24,000 in seats, plus the $1,500 onboarding.

What changes the cost

How much the first version changes. Reps use a tool differently from how anyone pictured it, so the second month of a build looks different from the plan. That's why I bill by the hour and send the hours each week instead of quoting a fixed fee.

Who owns it afterwards. Ask whether the code, the accounts and the data sit in your name, and what happens to them if the work stops.

Who does the work. An agency hour pays for a team, an account manager and their overhead. My $90 hour is me, working in your CRM. You can see what that has built in the CODA case study and the Forward Ops Hub.
